17 & 18 August 2009, Grand Millennium, Kuala Lumpur The two day workshop in Kuala Lumpur was attended by a wide range of sales managers and senior executives. The focus was on maintaining sales during the current economic crisis and using this time as an opportunity to re-skill and motivate sales staff for the recovery. All participants resonated with the global research which showed that only 8.13% of sales staff are consistent performers, while 41.4% are performing below the expected level and the remaining 50.4% are performing adequately but still have significant room for improvement. This workshop looked at ways of guiding salespeople into more efficient use of their time. It also recommended that more measurements be put in place to show sales staff where they are effective. All participants interacted well in the workshop – identifying ways in which the principles could be applied to their diverse areas of operations. The reviews from the workshop showed a high level of satisfaction with the information and the way it was presented. |
